Features
1. Performance Mode
Performance Modeis now available! It is a lightweight mode powered by the new Simple Shader.- It is useful for materials that do not need the full feature set, such as NPCs, background props, or other lower-detail objects.
- You can still fine-tune the essential advanced settings and pass settings, and your pass settings stay intact when you switch Performance Mode on or off.

2. Alpha Mask
Alpha Maskis here!- The previous
Clipping Maskis nowClipping Mode, and it lives inside the Alpha Mask settings. - Apart from Clipping, Alpha Mask behaves the same way as lilToon’s version. The conversion utility can convert those settings automatically too.
- Eye materials can use Alpha Mask now as well, making it much easier to mask only the areas you want.

3. Added Character Mask Pass control
- Gem materials now have a Character Mask Pass toggle, so you can directly control whether the character mask pass is used.
Optimizations
1. Build time optimization
- Default builds now handle Opaque Dither Fade passes more efficiently. (-25%)
- Unused Opaque Dither Fade passes are removed by default, cutting project build time by 50%.
2. Shader optimization
- Performance Mode delivers roughly 2.7x to 5.1x faster performance.
- The default shader also runs faster thanks to runtime performance improvements.

3. Dither Fade Feature
- The Dither Fade feature is now disabled by default.
- You can enable it from
Project Settings > PotaToon.
Bug Fixes
1. Gem Shader fixes
- Gem Refraction is now more stable in certain edge cases.
2. 2D Face Shadow fixes
- 2D Face Shadow no longer produces noisy line artifacts in affected setups.
3. Eye Shader GUI fixes
- Cleaned up Eye Shader inspector settings that looked awkward or did not behave correctly.
4. Shader warning cleanup
- Cleaned up warnings across multiple shaders.
